TikTok reviewer guide

Login, review, and publish flow

This public page explains the TikTok functionality available in the production ViralShort dashboard. The integration supports creator-reviewed videos. Direct Post is currently unaudited and restricted to private accounts and Only you posts. Inbox uploads must be completed by the creator inside TikTok.

Production reviewer path

Every TikTok post is creator reviewed

Reviewers can use the production dashboard to inspect the authorized TikTok creator, play the final watermark-free video, edit its caption, manually choose a creator-supported privacy option, opt into interactions, disclose commercial content, and explicitly choose either Direct Post or Send as TikTok draft. The dashboard then shows the real processing status.

Login Kit · user.info.basic
Connect your TikTok account through OAuth and display the authorized creator’s name and avatar. No video-library, follower, or private-content access is requested.
Content Posting API · video.publish
Send a reviewed original video directly to that creator’s profile, using the creator’s selected privacy, interactions and commercial disclosures.
Content Posting API · video.upload
Alternatively send the video to the creator’s TikTok inbox. Open TikTok, finish editing and choose privacy there before publishing. Inbox delivery is not a published post.

ViralShort offers public signup for creators to make original videos. This integration does not import arbitrary videos from other platforms and currently does not offer photo posting. Each video needs individual review and consent.

1. User initiated

A workspace admin explicitly connects TikTok, reviews each generated 9:16 video, and confirms each direct post.

2. Minimum data

user.info.basic is used only to display the authorized account. ViralShort does not read the user’s video library, followers, or private content.

3. Revocable

TikTok posts are never automatic. The user can reject a queued post, disconnect TikTok, or revoke access from TikTok account settings at any time.
